Supporting The Newly-Diagnosed and Survivors

Support Group Meetings are available for breast cancer patients and survivors. A medical professional or survivor speaks during each meeting, held on the 2nd Tuesday night monthly. Caregivers, family, and friends are also welcome.

Pink Tote Bag introduces breast cancer patients to ways Women of Hope can provide hope and support through diagnosis, treatment, and recovery. Tote Bags typically include a blanket, hand-made comfort pillow, journal, inspirational book, educational/resource materials, and other helpful items.

WOH Angels mentor breast cancer patients giving hope, support, and encouragement. Survivors use their personal experience by sharing helpful hints, not medical advice, to guide from diagnosis, through medical procedures and treatment to recovery.

Lymphedema Sleeve Project provides breast cancer patients and survivors local access to these expensive medical-grade compression sleeves at no cost to those meeting eligibility criteria.

Project Hydrate donates WOH-labeled bottled water to Montgomery Cancer Center (Montgomery and Prattville campuses) chemo infusion patients to help hydrate and provide encouragement and hope to nearly 2,000 patients monthly.
