My journey into the world of breast cancer began in October 2008, a time marked by both grief and faith. Through the support of my loved ones and unwavering belief, I faced each challenge with courage and hope, reminding myself and others to have faith and take one day at a time.
My journey through breast cancer began during my husband’s deployment to Iraq, a time of unexpected challenges and immense personal growth. Despite the distance and hardships, the support from my loved ones and Women of Hope helped me become a stronger person, and now, as a survivor, my mission is to support others facing this journey.
Diagnosed with breast cancer at 36, my life felt turned upside down, but through faith, I found strength and hope. Embracing the support of loved ones and my relationship with God, I navigated the journey, discovering that surrendering control and trusting in a higher plan made me stronger and more grateful for each day.

Supported by my husband, family, and friends, I tackled the diagnosis head-on. Overwhelmed with encouragement, I knew there was hope.
